SMA F1 Challenge Results

16 entrants competed for the ten A-main spots at the SMA F1 Challenge. Full results and photos.

The F1 Challenge had some fun elements:

• 21.5 Blinky, rubber tire
• 3 rounds of 4 minute qualifying sessions, fastest lap counts
• Prize for any F1 team that gets both pre nominated “Team Cars” into the Grand Prix final (A team consists of 2 cars, with matching paint work)
• 15 Minute Grand Prix (A -final) (Top 10 based on best single laptime) - no pitstops
• 10 Minute GP2 (B -final) (Next 10 based on best single laptime) - no pitstops

Track temps were higher than 40C and some struggled to find the right tyre.
