Starting Out

Getting started in RC in general, and F1 in particular, can seem a steep learning curve. But if like Emily you just want to have fun then what better hobby to have!

I met Emily and her Dad Geoff about six months ago. They were super keen but not sure where to start. They worked together and built a Touring Car for Emily and a Tamiya F104 v2 for Geoff. But now that Emily has seen the F1 car she wants one for herself!

Emily's first race is planned for the next club day at TFTR in Melbourne in 3 weeks time. She can't wait!

Geoff and Emily's journey started like most journeys. One step at a time!
